Healthy Hearing Ears (HHE) was established in 2020 to bring together clinical experts and generate greater awareness of the hearing rehabilitation needs of people living with chronic ear disease.
Since its inception, HHE has focused on building the evidence and clinical understanding needed to support earlier and more appropriate hearing rehabilitation.
2020 — HHE Established
HHE was launched as an international initiative bringing together experts in chronic ear disease and hearing rehabilitation.
2021–2024 — Building the Evidence
The initiative focused on identifying and addressing evidence gaps related to hearing outcomes, quality of life, healthcare utilization, and hearing rehabilitation in chronic otitis media.
2024–2025 — Expanding Scientific Dissemination
HHE publications and expert perspectives helped increase awareness of the persistent hearing rehabilitation gap and the role of bone conduction solutions.
2026 — From Evidence to Action
HHE entered a new phase focused on translating evidence into clinical knowledge, education, and practical resources for healthcare professionals.
Looking Ahead
HHE is evolving toward implementation—supporting the development of clinical pathways, educational resources, and collaborative initiatives that can help ensure hearing rehabilitation is considered at the right time for patients with chronic ear disease.
